Tinka Coffee Brewery
Tinka Coffee Brewery is situated at 147 John Street, Launceston, just up the road from Intersport. A tiny and lovingly decorated space for relaxation and fine beverage indulgence, as well as a selection of tasty and carefully curated eats. This cosy café is well-known for its delicious coffee and toasties, as well as its friendly staff. It has a 4.9/5 rating on Google reviews, 4.9/5 on Uber Eats and 5/5 on Facebook. This wonderful place is open from 8 am to 3 pm all 7 days a week. The café is usually buzzing around 9 am and 12pm, providing customers their morning and midday shot of caffeine. Catering an all-day brunch for customers, the menu consists of fruit loafs and acai bowls, filled bagels, gourmet toasties, butterbing cookie sandwiches and a variety of drinks. The best thing about this already delightfully diverse menu, Fridays are DOUGHNUT DAYS!! After having a newfound love for bagels and seeing a variety of bagel sandwiches on the menu, I had to try one. The avocado bagel is to die for! The combination of the freshly sliced avocado with the luscious pink beetroot pesto is a pair I would never have put together, but I am so glad I tried it out. It was out of this world especially accompanied by a deliciously refreshing Chia Berry Burst smoothie. Tinka’s widespread menu is on the pricey side, but it is completely worth it!
The Pantry Café
The Pantry Café is a hidden gem in Launceston and a must-visit. Centrally located, the café is in the heart of Launceston, with on-street parking and two large car parks within 100 metres. Known for their great coffee, variety of lunch choices, early morning breakfasts, fresh beverages, and plenty of space to catch up with a friend or two over a brew and tasty snack. The Charles Street Pantry is a Tasmanian family-run business that employs skilled staff to serve customers a quality brew, pastry, snack, and a delicious meal. It has developed over the last 15 years as a result of the attention to detail provided by the staff and the produce served. They believe they serve the best coffee in Launceston, and I truly did not believe so, so I had to try one of their cappuccinos and as far as I know this is the only place where I have had a super foamy and smooth cap. I can hands down say it definitely does serve the best coffee in town.
